The Karaoke Hole

London is getting a drag queen hosted karaoke bar

The Karaoke Hole is being run by gay club Dalston Superstore and pizza joint Voodoo Rays

The Karaoke Hole is the mischievous little sister of two long-running iconic Hackney hubs – queer pleasure palace Dalston Superstore and London pizza legends Voodoo Ray’s. Tucked away from the bustle of Kingsland High Street lies a subterranean neon dream lounge with a mission make all your Stars in Their Eyes dreams come true…

They have hand-picked some of London’s finest drag superstars with a penchant for singing in the shower to host your night of karaoke, cocktails and special surprises all in their tiny kitsch-as-hell den of debauchery! Whether you’re a 90s girl group aficionado, or you live for a bit of Aerosmith air guitar campery, they’ve got a themed night to whet your appetite.

With tacky cocktails on tap, special effects at our fingertips and a library of all your favourite guilty pleasure belters, you and your back-up singers are in for one hell of a ride.

Opening on 24 May, they’ll be open every Thursday, Friday & Saturday night from 6pm for walk-ins and table bookings in the early evening sitting, or head down later for a chaotic karaoke free-for-all until 3am.
