The Best of the Iris Prize Festival: Competition and Films Announced

There’s only twelve days left until our exciting event where we screen some of the best LGBT short films from around the world. So why not see if you can bag yourself a pair of tickets for free?

What’s more, we’ve confirmed two additional films for the programme. Alongside the four shorts selected by the Iris Prize, we’ll also be showing Cross Your Fingers, a short and sweet lesbian romance who’s charms are impossible to escape from. So So Gay have selected this as one of the many other films that stood out from the stiff competition last year.  Also, we are very proud to also screen 2008 winner Till Kleinert’s Boys Village, a film made with the £25,000 prize money and shot on location in Wales. Spooky, atmospheric, and eerily sexy, it’s a dark and brooding chiller it won the ‘Audience Award’ at the 10th Beijing Film Academy International Film Festival.

Therefore we are running a prize draw to give three people a pair of tickets to the event.  Simply fill in your details by 11:45 on Sunday 8 July and three winners will be selected at random to win. Winners will be notified by e-mail on Monday 9 July.

For those who don’t get bag themselves a free ticket, don’t forget that this fantastic event is only £6 and all ticket holders are invited to join us at for a reception afterwards (details to bve announced).
