Festival Preview & Competition: POUT London & UK Tour

Peccadillo Pictures’ POUT Film Festival is back this June, and we’re giving several lippy readers the chance to win pairs of tickets to a film of their choice.

Pucker up! Peccadillo Picture’s annual POUT Film Festival is back for a fourth year. So So Gay is teaming up with the coolest gay film distributors to bring you comprehensive coverage from the festival taking place between 21 – 23 June 2012 at the Apollo Cinema in the heart of London’s West End.

The programme of eclectic and queer-friendly films features several UK premiers, including Sabine Bernadi’s Romeos, Rikki Beadle-Blair’s Bashment, Douglas Aaron Johnston’s Bumblefuck, USA, and Rolla Selbak’s Three Veils. It will also give viewers an opportunity to catch British Film Institute’s (BFI) 26th London Lesbian & Gay Film Festival (LLGFF) films Stud Life, and Iranian lesbian movie Circumstance.

In addition to painting Regent Street pink, Peccadillo Pictures will also be taking the POUT festival on tour around the UK, having replaced the LLGFF touring series which was dropped by the BFI in 2011. Joining Circumstance and Romeos on tour will be the bombastic ball scene musical Leave It On the Floor and the colourful and compelling North Sea Texas.

To celebrate our continuing partnership with the festival, we’re offering readers the chance to win pairs of tickets to the screening of their choice during the festival. All you have to do is tweet a picture of your best pout to @sosogay_film using the hashtag #poutfilm before 23:59 15 June 2012. We’ll then select three lippy winners to each receive a pair of tickets. By tweeting us your picture, you give So So Gay the right to use it in promotional material pertaining to POUT, and to retweet it.

POUT Film Festival will take place between 21 – 23 June 2012 at the Apollo Piccadilly Cinema, London, SW1Y 4LR. Booking information to follow.
