Beyoncé to release ‘I Was Here’ on World Humanitarian Day

Global superstar Beyoncé Knowles has finally made her comeback, after giving birth seven months ago, and is releasing her new single on World Humanitarian Day.

The music video for single ‘I Was Here’, taken from the spectacular album 4, will be filmed in the UN General Assembly Hall in front of a live audience and released globally on 19 August 2012.

Speaking of the event, Beyoncé said: ‘World Humanitarian Day is an opportunity for all of us to work together to make a difference.’

World Humanitarian Day is a day globally celebrated to recognise humanity and the spirit of people helping people. The generous star and Diane Warren, the single’s songwriter, have donated the video to the campaign.
