Age of Consent checker

We came across this on Twitter, thanks to Jeremy Woodhouse.

Avert, the international AIDS charity, has a table where you can compare the age of consent in counties all over the world. It lists the age of consent for Male-Female, Male-Male and Female-Female, or whether it is illegal for these acts. No, this is not for checking your next holiday destination. It’s a stark reminder that being in love with someone of your own sex is not just frowned upon in some parts of the world, it can lead to time in jail or, worse, phsyical punishment.
